Dr. Blair Chase, LMFT, ATR-BC, LPC
Dr. Blair Chase is a highly decorated therapist with over a decade of experience, trained and licensed in 3 distinct clinical modalities. He is a Board-Certified Registered Art Therapist as conferred by the American Art Therapy Credentials Board, a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Pennsylvania, and a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist in Pennsylvania and Alabama.
Dr. Chase obtained a Bachelors of Art in Psychology from Temple University, a Masters of Science in Art Therapy/Counseling from Springfield College, and a Doctorate in Couples and Family Therapy from Drexel University. With a majority of his clinical experiences being focused on underserved and under-represented populations, he engages in all of his work from a social justice lens that is race cognizant to promote and support discussions tailored to multicultural and cross-cultural concerns.
Dr. Chase has worked with an array of populations, specializing in individual, couple, and family identity development as well as resilience building. Specific areas of expertise include: parent and child relationships, self-esteem, relational dysfunction (intimate or platonic), marital discord, and severe traumatic experiences. When not providing therapy services, he spent his time supervising aspiring art therapists and those looking to obtain their professional counseling license. Dr. Chase was a full-time faculty member at California Southern University as well as an adjunct professor at Drexel University teaching hybrid courses in the marriage and family therapy department, creative arts therapy department, and undergraduate psychology department.
